Attractive, WH (Heeres) 'standard-type', tropical-style rank-insignia (ie. roundel), as executed in bluish-grey coloured linnen on a brownish-green background, as intended for an: 'Oberschütze' - overall nice (ie. virtually mint-/unissued!) condition

This is a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'standard-type', machine-embroidered, tropical-style, rank-insignia (ie. roundel), as was executed in bluish-grey coloured linnen on a brownish-green background, as was intended for an: 'Oberschütze', in overall very nice (IMO virtually mint-/unissued-) condition. The piece shows some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by having been been stored as such for decades. The piece - which is not maker-marked as more often seen - is not backed as can be seen from the pictures: it was never before part of any collection and originates from a private household. It sounds maybe strange but these simple tropical-style rank-badges are actually quite hard to encounter. Simply a great occasion to acquire a neat tropical rank-badge as intended for a Heeres soldier having the rank of: 'Oberschütze'!
