Stunning - fully matching and hardly used! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'cyphered' so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Ofwbl. einer Infanterie-Abtlgs.' within the famous 'GD'-division Stunning - fully matching and hardly used! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'cyphered' so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Ofwbl. einer Infanterie-Abtlgs.' within the famous 'GD'-division

Stunning - fully matching and hardly used! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'cyphered' so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Ofwbl. einer Infanterie-Abtlgs.' within the famous 'GD'-division

This is a truly attractive - very desirable and actually truly rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, neatly 'cyphered' so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel einer Infanterie-Abteilungs' who served within the famous 'GrossDeutschland'-division and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem hardly used- nor worn- ie. still 'almost mint'-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 12,1 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the bluish-grey-coloured (ie. truly sub-dued and/or 'standard-pattern') NCO-braid attached and a pair of (very scarcely seen, fully matching, magnetic, regular-sized- and/or neatly silverish-toned) so-called: 'GD'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and four of (also matching, regular-sized and/or zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie. sergeant first-class). This rarely seen pair originated from an older and very extensive shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. The pair on offer here just shows some truly minimal age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - 'Infanterie'-related NCO-type 'GD'-shoulderstrap-pair that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
