Golden-bronze-toned- and/or zinc- (ie. The truly detailed - and actually quite scarcely seen! - piece is (I deem) executed in tarnished, golden-bronze-toned- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based metal and retains both its (also zinc-based) prongs in place (which were once bent but that are naturally still fully functional). The detail on the golden-toned- ie. somewhat 'frosted' piece is simply extraordinary: it just shows some minimal dust ie. tarnish simply caused by fair wear and/or decades of storage only. The neat and detailed piece is (as more often) totally void of a makers'-designation (ie. logo). It should be noted that these 'Polizei'-related-, 'Wasserschützpolizei' (or even police-general-officers'-pattern!) cap-devices can easily be graded 'very scarce'. Hard to find a more nicely preserved example for a more interesting price!
