This is an attractive - and/or fully functional! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) black-coloured- and/or resin-based, pilots'-armband-compass of the type: 'AK 39' that comes mounted onto its period, bluish-black-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based strap as issued and/or used and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The compass comes as stated mounted on its original (bluish-/black-coloured-) leather-based strap (or: two-pieced armband) which is fully functional and/or souple (and also naturally also retains its two original, metal-coloured studs). The compass is neatly maker-marked on its back with its type-signification that reads: 'Baumuster: AK39' and/or: 'LW-Anforderzahl' (ie. 'FL'-nr.) that reads: 'FL 23235-1' (moreover, does it also show a (hard to read but most certainly present! - unique serial-number that reads: '30238783'.) Truly most of the period fluid is still present (something that is most certainly not always the case!). Simply a very nice - and/or fully complete! - example that would look awesome if re-mounted to a pilot-mannequin or to be stored in any WH ie. pilots'-equipment-collection!
