6-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII and/or TR-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing various WWII-period awards (amongst which a Czech 'Anschluss'-medal with attached, tiny but very detailed 'PB'-bar)
This is an attractive, 6-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII- and/or Third Reich-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron-cross second class), a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwerter') having a bronze-toned sword-device attached, two (WWII- ie. TR-period-) so-called: 'WH-Dienstauszeichnungen der 3. u. 4. Klasse' (or WH loyal-service medals as awarded for four- ie. twelve years of loyal service both having a (silverish-coloured-) eagle-device attached, a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. März 1938' (or: Austrian 'Anschluss'-medal) and a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938' (or: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal) that is having a detailed (and somewhat smaller-sized) miniature 'Prager Burg-Spange' firmly- (and period-) attached as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938', all six ribbons (and 'Auflagen') coming in and overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1,5 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in an overall nice condition overall and is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but comes (directly) mounted onto a chrome-steel-based backing-plate (as more often). This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive, longer-sized 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having an desirable combination: I deem that I did price it accordingly!
