WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Krim'-campaign-shield (as was produced by the desirable maker: 'JFS' ie. 'Joseph Feix & Söhne') and that comes in a presumably issued- (albeit still 'virtually mint'!), condition

This is a truly very attractive - and actually quite rarely found! - example of a clearly maker-marked (and dated!) WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Krim'-campaign-shield as was produced by the desirable maker: 'Joseph Feix & Söhne' (ie. 'JFS') as was based in the town of Gablonz and that comes in a probably issued albeit still 'virtually mint'- (and with certainty never tunic-attached-), condition. The shield - that comes mounted onto its original, field-grey-coloured 'backing' - comes in a truly wonderful condition and was with certainty never worn nor used. It comes naturally complete with its metal-based back-plate and has all its four prongs in place: moreover, does it still retain its (typical) protective, back-coloured- and/or thin-shaped, paper-based backing attached (which is also white-ink-stamped with the makers'-designation: 'J.F.S. 42' as can be seen on the pictures). The shield - which is minimally converse-shaped as more often - retains all of its original, darker-coloured- and 'glossy' finish ie. bronze-like appearance (all its period 'Brennlack' is still present!) and was never cleaned nor polished: it does show some minimal staining caused by decades of storage only. Simply a very attractive - and surely desirable! - 'Heeres ie. Waffen-SS'-pattern example that was surely issued but simply never worn. It should be noted that these 'minty' examples by the 'Joseph Feix & Söhne'- (ie. 'JFS'-) company are very hard to come by: it will be very hard ie. impossible to upgrade this specimen!
