Moderately used, WH (Heeres) neatly hand-embroidered- and/or typical officers'- (ie. 'variant'-) pattern so-called: 'Edelweiss'-arm-badge (as specifically intended for usage by an officer serving within the 'Geb.-Jäger-Trpn.'
This is an attractive - I deem just moderately used and/or worn and actually truly scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) neatly hand-embroidered- and/or: typical officers'- (ie. 'variant'-) pattern so-called: 'Edelweiss'-arm-badge (as was specifically intended for usage by an officer serving within the 'Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' ie. mountain-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued- and as stated above just moderately worn- ie. I deem once tunic-attached-), condition. The very attractive armbadge - which shows extraordinary embroidery (as can be seen on the pictures) - is executed on a piece of darker-green-coloured wool and shows a neatly hand-embroidered 'Edelweiss'-flower, that is beautifully hand-embroidered in silverish- (ie. golden-) toned) 'braid' (ie. bullion). The piece is, moreover, neatly 'backed' with a piece of black-coloured- and thin-shaped paper (which is more often but not always the case). The badge shows some minimal wear- and/or storage-age and does show some minimal moth-damage (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very nice example of such an officers'- (ie. 'variant'-) pattern type 'Edelweiss'-arm-badge that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability: I deem that I did price this attractive arm-patch, accordingy!
