WH chocolate ration-tin of the make: 'Scho-ka-kola - Wehrmachts-Packung', dated: '1940' that comes in an overall nice, albeit clearly used- (ie. empty) condition
This is a neat - albeit regrettably empty - chocolate ration-tin of the make: 'Scho-ka-kola - Wehrmachts-Packung' that is dated: '1940' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- and/or issued-), condition. This type of chocolate was a by the German troops much loved 'special ration' of high-energy sweets, used as 'emergency food' at the front. The tin is in overall nice but clearly used condition (albeit empty) and has no real damage, heavy dents or alike (almost all colour is present but some minimal scratches and normal worn- ie. minimally used areas are visible). This chocolate was merely for army usage, something that is figured in the text as printed on the back of the tin where it is mentioned: 'Wehrmachts-Packung'. The empty tins were naturally mostly thrown away and are therefore very desirable and collectable!
