Superb - neatly enamelled and actually rarely encountered! - SS (ie. 'Allgemeine SS') civil-attire badge (ie. 'Zivilabzeichen der SS') being a detailed example that shows a clearly-present makers'-designation and unique serial-number ('41409')
This is a very attractive - regular-sized- (ie. having an approximate diameter of only 1,8 cms.) black-coloured- and/or neatly enamelled - so-called: SS (ie. 'Allgemeine SS') civil-attire badge (ie. 'Zivilabzeichen der SS') being a very detailed example that shows a clearly-present makers'-designation ('Hofstätter - Bonn') and unique (and fairly low!!) serial-number (that reads: '41409') and that shows, moreover, a clearly present: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-designation on its back and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat - and truly scarcely encountered! - piece comes naturally mounted onto its (fully functional) longer-sized pin that still retain its (period) safety-lock (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive piece has a truly stunning (and as stated totally undamaged!) enamelled surface and was never cleaned nor polished and is just somewhat stained ie. tarnished. This piece was recently uncovered at a German private-household and came together with the 'Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der N.S.D.A.P.' (or: 'kleines Partei-Abzeichen für den Zivilanzug') that I offer under number: 70357; both interesting lapel-pins originated from the same recipient and were kept and stored as such for decades. I deem that both pieces would merit some further investigative work. Simply a very attractive and desirable example that is I deem accordingly priced!
