This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (pointed-styled), neatly 'cyphered'- (and/or per regulation non-piped!) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Ergänzungs-Regiments 3' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within the army-infantry replacement-regiment, numbered: '3') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The regular-shaped shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,8 cms. sized in length each - do show the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have the 'standard-issued'-pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid period-attached. The straps show the neat (silver-toned, Gothic-styled, smaller-sized- and/or zinc-based) so-called: 'E'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), a pair of (smaller-sized, also zinc-based) '3'-numerals and a pair of (regular-sized- and I deem aluminium-based) pips, period-attached. All six devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues show as stated above only minimal usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). This pair originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Ergänzungs-Regiments 3'!
