Truly used- and/or worn, pair of WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Oberfeldwebel der Kav./Reiter- o. Aufklärungs-Trpn.' Truly used- and/or worn, pair of WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Oberfeldwebel der Kav./Reiter- o. Aufklärungs-Trpn.'

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily encountered! - (I deem) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair as was piped in the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Kavallerie/Reiter o. Aufklärungs-Truppen' (or: senior-NCO and/or sergeant first-class who served within within a specific cavalry- ie. reconnaisance regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem clearly used- and/or worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each as more often seen - have the desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these early- ie. mid-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - show the typical silverish-toned (ie. 'standard-issued'- and non-sub-dued- ie. 'dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid period-attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be noticed on the pictures). The pair has four (matching, regular-sized and I deem zinc-based) pips period-attached, denoting the NCOs rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel'. The straps come in a fully untouched condition but do show some fair wear, age and/or staining (one of the pips is neatly, period-re-attached by means of some stitching as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - truly used and/or fully 'text-book'! - 'M40- (ie. 43'-) pattern, NCO-type 'Reiter o. Aufklärungs-Truppen'-related shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Reiter o. Aufklärungs-Truppen': I deem that I have priced this truly untouched pair, accordingly!
