Single, WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard: 'Leutnant o. Arzt der Sanitäts-Trpn.' who served within the famous 'GrossDeutschland'-division

This is a very desirable - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard as piped in the desirable darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour (as constructed from the typical 'smooth-type' wool and that is showing a rarely observed, regular-sized and/or minimally tarnished, golden-toned 'GD'-cypher period-attached as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant u. Arzt der Sanitäts-Truppen' (ie. medical lieutnant and possibly doctor) who served within the famous 'GrossDeutschland'-division and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboard - which is piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured wool - is executed in the 'smooth-type'-wool and comes mounted onto its typical tongue attached. The board - which is approximately 10,4 cms. sized in length - has a greyish (ie. truly sub-dued) 'upperdeck' and shows the obvious signs of having been worn ie. having been once tunic-attached (it shows some minimal wear and/or usage). As stated above, does the board show a non-magnetic, regular-sized and/or (minimally tarnished) golden-toned, so-called: 'GD'-cypher period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of a: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). The 'cypher' retains both its prongs (as can be seen on the back of the board). This board originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site - was surely intended to be used onto a 'regular, front-used'-tunic. Simply a very attractive - and truly scarcely encountered! - neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard that shows lots of character and that belonged to a 'Sanitäts'-officer who served within a famous WH 'elite'-regiment: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
