Single, WH (Luftwaffe) general-officers'-type collar-tab as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a general-officer with the rank of: 'Generalmajor der Luftwaffe'

This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless rarely encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) general-officers'-type collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as was intended for - and with certainty used by! - a general-officer holding the rank of a: 'Generalmajor der Luftwaffe' and that comes in an overall nice (ie. only slightly used- and I deem clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The collar-tab is nicely constructed and is mounted onto a white-coloured- and 'smooth'-woolen-based underground (and having a beige-coloured- and/or 'buckram'-based backing as to be expected). The tab is nicely piped with golden-toned braid and shows the oakleaves- and single gull which are both nicely executed in (minimally thicker-shaped) golden-toned braid (as can be seen on the pictures) The insignia-piece has truly extraordinary detail and is truly a great example of the employed craftmenship of the days. The collar-tab is just a tiny bit tarnished- ie. stained (simply caused by years of storage ie. moderate wear). The piece originates from a private household and was never before part of a collection. Simply a very attractive and/or truly detailed WH (Luftwaffe) general-officers'-type 'Kragenspiegel': too bad that it is only a single example!
