Single, WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36-/M40'-pattern, 'cyphered' shoulderstrap: 'Feldwebel des Nachrichten-Abts. 5'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern, 'cyphered'- and bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) piped NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Nachrichten-Abteilungs 5' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within the army signals-unit numbered: '5') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 11,6 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'- and/or woolen-type) piping, attached. It shows the 'standard'- (ie. early-style, 'dotted') pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid attached. Moreover, does it show a (larger-sized, early-pattern and/or aluminium-based) so-called: '5'-cypher ie. numeral (or: 'Ziffer') and an (equally-styled, regular-sized- and somewhat tarnished) pip period-attached denoting the NCO-rank of a: 'Feldwebel'. Both devices are nicely preserved but does show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which comes mounted onto its period tongue - shows as stated above just moderate usage and/or wear and is just minimally stained. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Nachrichten-Abteilungs 5'!
