Pair of typically 'tailor-made' - and/or fully matching! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Rgts. 5'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that often seen! - (I deem) typically 'tailor-made' pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 5' (or: simple soldier who served within a specific anti-aircraft-unit, numbered: '5') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately worn- ie. clearly used- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each - show the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and have the woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that came without tongues - were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (I deem that they were once attached to a so-called: 'Viertaschenrock' and are constructed from smooth-style, darker-blue-toned wool). They show the neat (bright-red-coloured- and neatly hand-embroidered!) so-called: '5'-cyphers (ie. numerals or 'Ziffern') attached denoting that the pair was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 5'. The straps show some clear age, wear and/or staining but are totally void of any damage or alike. This pair - that came with a set of smaller-sized, 'pebbled-styled' tunic-buttons attached - originated from a smaller lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are quite hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and not that often seen! - EM-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Soldat des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 5'!
