Pair of early-war-period WH (Heeres), 'M40-pattern (rounded-styled and neatly 'cyphered') EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Sanitäts-Abtlgs. 4'

This is a very attractive - fully matching and with certainty rarely found! - pair of (fairly early- ie. rounded-styled), neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens-type (ie. 'M40'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and just moderately used by! - a simply soldier ie. 'Sanitäter' (or medical-orderly) who served within the: 'Sanitäts-Abteilungs 4' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just minimally used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The straps are just moderately worn and do show some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the desirable darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured - and/or woolen-type piping attached and measure approximately 12,2 cms. in length each. The pieces never had any tongues attached and were clearly intended (and used as) a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern. The straps show both a neat so-called: '4'-cypher ie. numeral (or 'Ziffer') which are neatly machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' (as can be seen on the pictures). Both 'cyphers' are executed in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected. The pair is constructed from the typical darker-green-coloured wool and is with certainty a 'standard-issued'-pair. These type of shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period-pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1940 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered'-shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty very desirable! - 'cyphered', 'Sanitäter'-related EM-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat des Sanitäts-Abteilungs 4'. I deem that I have priced this truly very attractive - and rarely encountered! - EM-type pair according to its desirabilty and overall very nicely preserved condition!
