This is a very attractive - fully matching and as such actually scarcely encountered! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period, WH (Heeres), 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) type, pointed-styled and neatly 'cyphered' (and/or per regulation non-piped ie. generic-styled!) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Artillerie-Regiments 2' (or: simple soldier who served within the artillery regiment, numbered: '2') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps have the field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks' as to be expected and have (as per regulation) no piping attached: they are from the 'generic'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come mounted onto their functional tongues attached and measure approx. 12 cms. in length each. Both straps show a neat (larger-sized) so-called: '2'-numeral attached (which 'Ziffern' are excuted in bright-red-toned wool in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show some minimal age and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible- ie. present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'scarce'. This attractive pair was never in collectors'-hands and was recently found at a German private-household. Simply a very attractive and/or early- (ie. pre-) war period, 'cyphered Heeres'-related EM-type shoulderstrap-pair as was specifically intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Artillerie-Regiments 2': I deem that I have priced this very attractive and neatly 'cyphered' EM-type pair, accordingly!
