Aluminium-based, WH (LW) ie. 'Flieger o. Kampfgeschwader'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped- and/or: 'coded'-unit- ie. 'MOB'-designation that reads: '65102' (and as such belonging to the: '3./KG 51')
This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a silverish-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flieger o. Kampfgeschwader'- (ie. pilot) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped- (and/or: 'coded') unit-designation (aka: 'MOB-liste-Nummerierung') that simply reads: '65102' (and as such belonging to a soldier ie. staff-member who served within the: '3./KG 51'). The disc comes in an overall very nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (as can be noticed on the pictures). The disc - that came mounted onto its period cord as issued and worn - shows the impressed bearers'-blood-group-type (Type B) something that is more often (but not always!) seen on these 'coded' ID-discs and also shows a clearly stamped (very low!) bearers-numeral that reads: '24'. The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive and honest 'coded', WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flieger o. Kampfgeschwader'-related ID-disc that belonged to a member of a specific 'Kampfgeschwader' and that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
