This is an attractive - and in this uncommonly found combination not that often seen! - five-pieced, WWI- (ie. TR-) period medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') being of the 'non-detachable'-pattern that is respectively depicting a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class), a WWII-period: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: war-merits' cross 2nd class with swords) being a very detailed- and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based specimen, a scarcely seen: 'Anhalt Friedrich-Kreuz für Kämpfer 1914-1918', a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwertern') and a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938' (or: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal) as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and that comes with a firmly attached 'Prager Burg-Spange', all five medals (and 'Spange'!) coming in an overall very nice- (albeit just minimally used and/or worn-), condition. All five medals are nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: both come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and naturally also come mounted onto their period ribbons. All five awards are truly bronze- (ie. tarnished golden-) coloured and are just minimally tarnished by age and/or moderate usage and wear (as can be seen on the pictures) but are void of any damage or alike. The pieces come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons and have a nicely preserved age-patina and are just a tiny bit dirty: they were (I deem) never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The entire 'Spange' is nicely 'backed' with a piece of darker-green-coloured wool and comes mounted onto a metal-based: 'backing-plate' that shows a (regular-type- and functional) pin- ie. catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' is a clearly maker- (ie. 'No. 44 R.V. Pforzheim'-) marked example. This particular medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') originates from a private household and was never part of a collection. Simply an attractive example of a five-pieced WW1- (ie. TR-) related 'Ordenspange' in an uncommonly found WWI- (ie. WWII-) combination that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
