Pair of - fully matching! - WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere der LW') as executed in golden-yellow-coloured wool as was intended for usage by a: 'Oberst der Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger-Trpn.'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere der Luftwaffe') as executed in golden- ie. somewhat orange-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or: smooth-type- ie. 'moleskin'-type wool, as were specifically intended for usage by a: 'Oberst der Flieger-o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' (or: full colonel who served within the pilot- or paratrooper-branch) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The pair is truly neatly hand-embroidered and shows great detail and/or craftmenship. The tabs have the 'standard-type', beige-coloured- and/or 'buckram'-based 'backings' attached as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). This pair originated from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found: this pair belonged to a (regrettably unidentified) 'Oberst der Flieger-o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' who wore these pieces and stored them for decades. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a very attractive pair of (high-ranked!) LW officers'-type collar-tabs for a justified price!
