This is an attractive - and actually very scarcely found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career-/proficiency patch (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for: 'geprüfter ehemaligen Militärschuler' (ie. qualified former airforce-staff-members ie. LW-students at one of the 'Fliegertechnischen Vorschulen der Luftwaffe') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The patch (aka: 'Luftwaffen Ärmelabzeichen für ehemaligen Militärschuler' depicts a three-pieced propellor coupled with the characters 'Fl'-, 'T'- and/or: 'V' is neatly machine-embroidered in greyish-white-coloured linnen on a bluish-grey coloured- and/or typical woolen-based background. The badge - which has the neat 'greyish-silver'- and braid-based border' (ie. 'Kordel') attached - signified that the bearer had sucessfully succeeded various tests in this speciality. The patch - which is as more often void of any additional 'backing' attached - shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining. Simply a very attractive - and truly scarcely found! - WH 'Luftwaffe'-related trade- and/or special-career patch that comes most certainly not that often for sale!
