This is a truly very attractive - truly luxuriously-styled and possibly even unique! - example of a WH (Heeres) (officers-pattern?) 'Nebelwerfer Richtkannonier'- (or: qualified smoke-troops canon-operator) trade- ie. speciality-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') being a specimen as was very unusually executed in the neat 'machine-embroidered'- ie. 'flat-wire'-weave pattern and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-, condition. The piece - that shows a thin-shaped, green-coloured, paper-based 'backing' in place - was simply never tunic-attached and comes in a 'virtually mint' condition: it just shows some minimal age ie. staining, simply caused by decades of storage only.
