WH (Luftwaffe) 'Demjansk'-campaign-shield as executed in typical magnetic metal (ie. so-called: 'Eisenblech') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. still 'virtually mint' ie. fully untouched!), condition

This is a truly very attractive - and/or very detailed! - example of the (actually nowadays scarcely encountered!) WH (Luftwaffe) so-called: 'Demjansk'-campaign-shield and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- albeit simply never worn- nor once tunic-attached- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The (typical magnetic and minimally converse-shaped) campaign-shield - which is executed in greyish-silver-coloured metal (ie.: 'Eisenblech') - comes naturally complete with its metal-based back-plate and retains all four of its originally attached pins ie. prongs in place: moreover, does it still retains its (thin-shaped, blue-toned) backing-paper in place (as can be seen on the pictures). The shield - that comes mounted onto its piece of typical bluish-grey-woolen-based Lufwaffe cloth - shows some minimal aging caused by storage only: some minimal staining is visible and/or present but it still retains very nice detail as to be expected: moreover, is all of its protective lacquered finish nicely preserved. The shield was found at a private-household in Germany and was simply stored as such for decades: it was never before in a collection. It should furthermore be mentioned that these 'Demjansk'-campaign-shields are nowadays hard to come by: even more so when they are of the Luftwaffe-type. Simply a very nice - and naturally original! - example of this collectable and desirable campaign-shield that nowadays is not that often offered for sale: simply the nicest such example I ever had on offer!
