'Panzerkampf-Abzeichen in Bronze' being a 'hollow-back', non-maker-marked- (and/or: zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example as was procuced by the: 'C.E. Juncker'-company

This is a an attractive - very desirable and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze' (or: bronze panzer-assault badge or PAB), being a a 'hollow-back', typical non-maker-marked- (and/or: zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example as was procuced by the desirable: 'C.E. Juncker'-company and that comes in an overall wonderful- (ie. clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns an (I deem mid-war-period-) zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based specimen that retains most of its brownish- (ie. darkened golden-bronze-) coloured finish: the piece has, however, a typical 'Feinzink'-like appearance. The badge has not been cleaned nor polished recently (and is just a tiny bit tarnished and/or dirty as mentioned above and does show some minimal corrosion-marks on its back). As stated above, is the piece non-maker-marked and shows various characteristics - such as for example the typical pin and/or soldered catch-set-up - typically seen with PABs as produced by the: 'C.E. Juncker'-company: it deals with a so-called: 'hollow zinc piece' (as uniquely numbered with the reference-number: '1.1.4' according to the excellent reference-work entitled: 'The Panzer-Assault badge of WWII' by my Belgian friend Philippe de Bock). The neat piece - which is very pronounced and has great pronounced detail - naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker. It was found as such at a German private-household and was never before part of a collection. Simply a very attractive and honest bronze-class PAB that comes in an overall very nice and just moderately used- ie. worn condition!
