Golden-bronze-coloured (and 'Buntmetall'-based!) example of a: 'Deutsch-Italienische Feldzugsmedaille' (or: German-Italian campaign-medal) that came together with its (full length- and virtually mint- ie. unissued) piece of original ribbon
The attractive - and I deem mid-war-period! - is a typical 'Buntmetall'-) based commemorative award that is stamped by the designer ie. cutter (named: 'De Marohis') and that is also neatly maker- (ie. 'Lorioli-Milano'-) marked as is always the case with these neat and desirable, foreign commemorative-awards. The pronounced medal truly retains most of its golden-bronze-coloured finish: it has simply never been cleaned nor polished and is just a tiny bit dirty and retains still fantastic and/or pronounced detail. The piece came - as stated above - together with its (regular-sized- ie. 19 cms. long-sized and/or neatly folded ie. non-confectioned) piece of original (and 'virtually mint') ribbon (which is actually hard to find in itself). The medal originates from a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive example of this desirable award that is I deem accordingly priced!
