This is an attractive - and fully complete! - WH soldiers'-type, four-pieced and steel-based eating-utensils-set (ie. so-called: 'Göffel') being a nicely maker- (ie. 'C. & C.W.'-) marked and/or: '1941'- (ie. '1942'-) dated example that shows the clearly stamped eagle- ie. swastika-devices and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or used-), condition. These pieces were most times referred to as: 'Göffel' (which is a combination of the German words 'Gabel' (= fork) and/or 'Löffel' (= spoon) and saw wide-spread usage within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. The set on offer here - which is as stated above constructed from shiny metal (ie. stainless-steel) - is neatly maker-marked with the makers'-designation- ie. abbreviation: 'C. & C.W.-41' (ie. 'C. & C.W.-41') and is naturally fully functional. Two of the pieces are identically stamped and/or dated: the knife and tin-opener are void of any marking but most certainly always belonged to the set. It came as recently found and was without doubt used after the war as a useful piece of 'camping-gear' or alike. This particular example is of additional interest due to the fact that it is of a not that often-seen model ie. pattern (that can be stuck together in an ingenious manner). Simply a nice occasion to acquire an unusually seen piece of personal equipment: ideal to be stored in a soldiers' bread-bag (ie. 'Brotbeutel')!
