'Einzelspange' showing a: 'Schlesisches Bewährungsabzeichen der II. Kl.' (or: 'Schlesischer Adler 2. Stufe') being a just moderately used example that comes mounted onto its full-length ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as found
This is truly very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Einzelspange' (or: single-pieced medal-bar) that is depicting a so-called: 'Schlesisches Bewährungsabzeichen der II. Klasse' (or: 'Schlesischer Adler 2. Stufe') being a just moderately used and/or worn example that comes as recently found. The neat piece - that originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered - shows two (separately-attached- ie. 'aufgeklammerten', bright-silver-toned ie. truly 'frosted' devices ie. 'Halbmond' and/or text-banner: 'für Schlesien' as to be expected (as can be noticed on the pictures). The attractive piece - that is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often - truly retains most of its (just minimally tarnished) golden-toned finish. The piece is nicely 'backed' with a piece of brown-toned wool and comes mounted onto its (still functional) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up. Simply a very attractive example of this neat, post WWI-period award that comes mounted as an: 'Einzelspange' and that comes actually not that often for sale!
