'Virtually mint- ie. unissued', WH (Luftwaffe) EM/NCO-pattern visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle (being an unmarked example as executed in zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based metal)
I recently uncovered a small lot comprising of ten examples of the WH (Luftwaffe) EM/NCO-pattern visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being all ten, typical an unmarked examples as executed in zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based metal and that come all ten in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition. These specific EM/NCO-pattern cap-eagles were intended for usage on the various WH (Luftwaffe) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) and saw usage before and/or throughout the war. The eagles of offer here have truly great pronounced detail and retain all their (three) integrated (and also zinc-based) pins ie. prongs in place (which were I deem never bent and that are of course firmly in place). The pieces are, however, totally void of a makers'-designation on their backs as more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The pieces - which are executed in bright-silverish-coloured, zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based metal) - have an approximate wingspan of 5,4 cms. and have a minimally tarnished 'age-patina' (they were - as stated above - never used nor cap-attached as can be noticed on the pictures). My asking-price is naturally intended for a single specimen. Simply an attractive example of a WH (Luftwaffe) non-maker-marked, 'three-prong-intergrated-set-up'-pattern visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle that is nowadays not that easily encountered and that is I deem accordingly priced!
