WH (Heeres), 'BeVo'-flat-wire-woven, 'FHH-Ärmelstreifen' (ie. cuff-title), as was intended for member serveing within the: '60. Pz-Gren.-Div.' “Feldherrnhalle”
This is truly attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres), 'BeVo'-flat-wire-woven, 'FHH-Ärmelstreifen' (or: cuff-title) as was specifically intended for a member serving within the: '60. Pz-Grenadier-Division' “Feldherrnhalle” and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately used- and/or with certainty once tunic-attached-), condition. The cuff-title orginated from a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection: it was carefully tunic-removed and stored as such for decades. The 'Ärmelstreifen' (ie. cuff-title) - which comes in an almost full-length- and/or minimally confectioned condition and measures now approx. 41 cms. in length - is executed in the neat 'BeVo'-woven, 'flatwire-technique': it shows two silver-grey-coloured- and/or 'interwoven' borders as to be expected. The piece - which shows truly extraordinary craftmenship - was clearly used ie. once mounted on a tunic and still shows some minimal signs of having been once sewn to a tunic. The piece - which shows two unfinished ends as more often encountered - shows some truly minor staining and normal age caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear. Simply a very attractive, 'BeVo'-flat-wire-woven-, 'FHH-Ärmelstreifen' as was intended for an officer (ie. soldier or NCO-) serving within the: '60. Pz-Gren.-Div.' “Feldherrnhalle”: I deem that I have priced this attractive specimen, accordingly!
