The attractive - and with certainty not that easily ie. scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap shows the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measures approximately 10,5 cms. in length and is clearly of the simplified. so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44'-) pattern. The shoulderstrap is constructed from the (typical) field-grey-toned, later-war-type wool and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap is void of any damage whatsoever (it just shows some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by having been glued into an album once). It should be noted that these attractive, green-piped- (thus 'Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger'- ie. mountain-troops-related) and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are quite desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they come in such a nicely preserved condition as the strap on offer here!
