This is a very attractive - and fully complete, totally matching and untouched! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a non-maker marked example as was produced by the desirable maker ie. company, named: 'L.Chr. Lauer' as was based in the towns of Nürnberg ie. Berlin (ie. 'Hersteller 14') and that comes stored in its period, scarely seen and regular-sized pattern, darked-blue-coloured- and/or 'Zellstoff'-based pouch and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit simply never used- nor even mounted-), condition. The piece was most certainly never been cleaned and shows a very attractive (blackened- and truly 'satin-like'- ie. matted-) patina and shows an undamaged, black-coloured 'inner-core'-section. The piece - that is void of a makers'-designation - can nevertheless most certainly be attributed to the: 'L.Chr. Lauer'-company and retains still most of its polished sides (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten') and does just show some minimal storage-age only. It came stored in its accompanying (and matching!), somewhat darked-blue-coloured- and/or typical 'Zellstoff'-based pouch and came together with its non-confectioned (ie. approx. 29 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. As stated above has the cross great and very fine detail: the pouch (and cross) have just a bit 'tarnished' over the years (the complete set is just a tiny bit dusty). Simply a superb - completely matching and fully untouched! - IC-set by the 'L.Chr. Lauer'-company that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
