5-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') resp. depicting a WWI-period: 'EK II.Kl.', a: 'KvK II.Kl. mit Schwn.', a: 'FKK 1914-18' and two WH: 'Dienst-Auszeichnungen der 3. u. 4. Stufe'

This is an attractive 5-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) related, period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron-cross second class), a WWII- (ie. TR-) period: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: war-merits' cross 2nd class with swords), a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern') having a golden-toned sword-device attached and two WH (Heeres o. KM): 'Dienst-Auszeichnungen der 3. u. 4. Stufe' (having both a (detailed!) golden- ie. silverish-toned miniature-device attached, all five ribbons (and 'Auflagen') coming in a wonderful- (and only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller), ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but shows a crimped, metal-based backing-plate (as more often). The attached devices just show some minimal age ie. tarnish but have been very nicely preserved. This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive 'Feld- o. Bandspange' having a desirable combination: great to decorate almost any tunic!
