Pair of WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40 o. M41'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Unteroffizier einer Sanitäts-Abtlgs.'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily encountered! - (I deem) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M41'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair as was piped in the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and/or minimally worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier einer Sanitäts-Abteilungs' (or: NCO ie. junior-sergeant and medical-orderly who served within an army medical-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - that have the darker-green-toned 'upperdecks' and measure approximately 12 cms. in length each as more often seen - have the neat woolen-type (and darker-blue- ie. 'blauer'-coloured) piping and bluish-grey-toned- ie. truly 'sub-dued' NCO-braid attached (as is more encountered with these early- ie. mid-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstraps - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'! - 'M40- ie. 41'-pattern, NCO-type 'Sanitäter'-related shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier einer Sanitäts-Abteilungs': impossible to upgrade this pair!
