N.S.D.A.P.-related, Austrian 'tinnie' being a maker- (ie. 'Ulbricht - Wien'-) marked example depicting an NSDAP-office and eagle-device resting on a swastika and showing the text: 'Kreishaus Eröffnung - Vöcklabruck - August 1939'
The neat - and most certainly unusually encountered! - Austrian-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in (light-weight) aluminium-based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age. The square-shaped day-badge depicts an NSDAP-office (with flying swastika-flag!) and eagle-device resting on a (large) swastika and showing the text: 'Kreishaus Eröffnung - Vöcklabruck - August 1939' and comes mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and was simply never cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and retains a fair bit of its shiny and/or silver-coloured finish. On its back it shows the (superimposed) makers'-designation 'Ulbricht - Wien & Aufing' coupled with a: 'M9/235' RzM-designation. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or town) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. I deem that this attractive, Austrian-issued- and produced! - example is most certainly accordingly priced!
