WH (Luftwaffe) bluish-grey-coloured, steel-based belt-buckle being a maker- (ie. 'H. Aurich'-) marked- and/or: '1942'-dated example that comes mounted onto its leather-based tab
This is a neat - albeit truly used and/or worn - example of a (Luftwaffe) bluish-grey-coloured- and/or typical steel-based belt-buckle, being a neatly maker- (ie. 'H. Aurich'-) marked- and/or: '1942'-dated example that comes mounted onto its black-coloured leather-based tab and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or worn-), condition. The buckle retains a fair bit of its 'matted- ie. satin'-styled, bluish-grey-coloured finish but does show some rust-staining and/or dirt: it was, however, not cleaned nor polished and comes as recently found (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows some obvious dust ie. rust caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The leather-based tab is naturally also still fully functional and souple: it shows a clearly present, shield-shaped: 'H. Aurich - Dresden - 1942'-stamp (as can be clearly seen in the pictures) and remains in an equally nicely preserved condition overall (it was I deem not greased nor oiled but does show some minimal age ie. staining). The buckle itself is non-maker-marked as is more often observed. It should be noted that these tabbed examples are nowadays quite difficult to encounter. Simply an attractive, 'H. Aurich'-marked 'Luftwaffe'-example that is priced according to its overall nice (ie. clearly used- and/or worn), condition!
