Very unususal - and actually never before by me encountered! - pair of WH (LW) hand-embroidered- and golden-yellow piped EM- (ie. NCO-) type collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') 'Flieger- o. Fallschirmjäger'
The attractive - fully matching and I deem clearly used ie. most certainly once tunic-attached - WH (Luftwaffe) collar-patch-pair (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz') is executed in the typical, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or truly 'smooth'- (ie. 'felt-like'-type-) wool: the pair shows the additionally- (and surely period-added!) typical (golden-yellow-toned and twisted) piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The patches were most certainly issued and used as such and come in a wonderful condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). Both tabs show a single (identically shaped, hand-embroidered and/or braid-based) silver-greyish-coloured gull (ie. wing or 'Schwinge') which is something that I have never before(!) seen and are both nicely 'backed' with the beige-coloured- (and/or 'buckram'-based-) material as more often encountered. This attractive - and very unusually seen! - 'Kragenspiegel'-pair was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive - and surely unusually seen! - 'Flieger o. Fallschirmjäger'-related LW-collar-tab-pair that is with certainty accordingly priced!
