Period 'vaulted', WH (KM) 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' being a clearly maker- (ie. 'Assmann'-) marked example as executed in multi-coloured metal (ie. 'Buntmetall')

The attractive - and truly quality-produced- and - I deem - somewhat early-war-period produced! - naval war-badge or: 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände' (or: mine-sweeper war-badge) comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn- and somewhat tarnished- and/or period 'vaulted'-), condition as recently found. The badge truly retains great pronounced detail and retains most of its silver- ie. golden-coloured finish and retains fine pronounced details (as can be seen on the pictures): the piece was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished and is still a bit tarnished (as can be seen on the pictures). The award - which is of the typical 'Buntmetall'-based-pattern - shows a clearly present, super-imposed makers'-designation (that reads: 'A'- ie. 'Assmann & Söhne') as is to be expected for a quality-produced war-badge by this particular maker. The award comes naturally mounted onto its (fully functional- and totally unaltered) (typical flute-shaped) pin- and/or pin-catch set-up as to be expected. I deem that I have priced this attractive (and/or period 'vaulted'!) naval 'Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boot-Jagd und Sicherungs-Verbände by the desirable 'Hersteller 'Assmann & Söhne', accordingly!
