Stonemint medal-set: 'Deutsch-Italienische Feldzugsmedaille' (or: German-Italian campaign-medal) being a maker- (ie. 'Lorioli - Milano'-) marked specimen that comes stored in its period pouch as issued
The very attractive - and I deem most certainly early-period! - medal is stamped by the designer ie. cutter (named: 'De Marohis') and is also neatly maker- (ie. 'Lorioli-Milano'-) marked as is always the case with these neat and desirable, foreign commemorative awards. The pronounced medal retains most (ie. all!) of its minimally darkened, golden-bronze-coloured finish and has simply never been cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit dirty and retains truly fantastic and/or pronounced detail. The piece comes - as stated above - together its (truly minty, non-confectioned- ie. just folded and approx. 19 cm.-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or recently found. The medal - that was simply never mounted - came stored in its period (Cellophan-based, smaller-sized) pouch originates from a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive example of this desirable award: one of the best such examples I had on offer for quite some time!
