Bright silverish-grey-coloured- and typical aluminium-based (political-style) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being a detailed example that is neatly: 'RzM - M1/111'-marked on its back
This is an attractive - and truly very detailed! - (bright) silverish-coloured- and typical alumnium-based, (political-style) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being a detailed example that is neatly: 'RzM - M1/111' marked on its back and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never worn- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. These cap-eagles were intended for usage on the visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') of one of the national-socialistic- (ie. party related-) organisations. The eagle has truly great pronounced detail and naturally retains all three, copper-toned pins ie. prongs in place (which were I deem never bent and which are of course still functional). On its back, the eagle is nicely marked with the makers'-designation: 'RzM - M1/111' as stated above. The piece - which is right-facing and that is having an approximate wing-span of 5,8 cms. - has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit tarnished caused by decades of storgae (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that these eagles were occasionally also seen worn by Waffen-SS members. Simply an attractive and detailed 'party-style' visor-cap eagle: it will be very hard to upgrade this attractive, example!
