Pair of early- (ie. mid-) war-period - and fully matching! - WH (Heeres) 'M40'-type collar-patches (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel') as piped in the green-coloured branchcolour as intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Trpn.'
This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely found! - pair of (I deem) early- (ie. mid-) war period, WH (Heeres) 'M40'-type collar-patches (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel') as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' (or: soldier ie. NCO who served within an army mountain-troops unit ie. regiment) that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The tabs have the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour signifying that they were intended for a soldier (ie. NCO) who served within an army mountain-troops unit ie. regiment. Both tabs are not 'pre-mounted' onto a darker-green-coloured- and woolen-based background but were directly sewn onto the collar as was more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - which was I deem once-mounted onto a tunic - shows some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by I deem having been glued into an album once (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire a neat - and with certainty not that easily encountered! - 'M40'-type collar-tab-set in a very desirable branchcolour ie. 'Waffenfarbe'!
