Larger-sized, WH (Kriegsmarine): 'DAK' (ie. 'Deutsches Afrikakorps') zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based- and/or 'Feuervergoldetes' so-called: 'pith-helmet' eagle-device

This is a truly attractive - and actually scarcely seen! - very detailed example of a WH (Kriegsmarine): 'DAK' (ie. 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'), presumably zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based- and/or: bright-golden-toned- (ie 'Feuervergoldetes') so-called: 'pith-helmet'-eagle-device being a (typical) non-maker-marked example that still retains its original attachment-prong and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never worn- nor used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. These - detailed and/or truly pronounced - head-gear-pieces having an approximate wingspan of 10,7 cms. - were worn onto the front of the beige-coloured naval pith-helmets. The piece on offer here retains all of its original (bright-golden-toned!) finish but does show some minimal scratches (simply caused by decades of storage and or handling). Actually, are these genuine KM-pith-helmet eagle-devices - having their single, central-placed prong in place - not that easily encountered. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire an original 'DAK' (ie. 'Afrikakorps') so-called: Kriegsmarine-type 'pith-helmet'-eagle-device for a competitive price!
