WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type, hand-embroidered visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützenadler für Offiziere der KM') as intended for usage on the various naval, officers'-pattern visor-caps
This is an unusual - and with certainty not that often found! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'- (ie. evt. NCO-) type, hand-embroidered- (and truly very detailed!) naval-type visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützenadler für Offiziere der Kriegsmarine') being executed in various types of bright-golden-coloured braid (and/or 'Cellueon'-based material!) onto a darker-blue-coloured- and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based background and that comes in an overall very nice condition. This eagle - having a length ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 7 cms. - is very nicely hand-embroidered using the neat golden-coloured 'braid' onto a darker-blue-coloured (and/or woolen-based-) background and has some 'highlighted areas' as executed in bright golden-coloured, 'Cellueon'-based material (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle was most certainly used- ie. once cap-attached (by hand-stitching) and still shows some of it stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle can naturally easily be used as a scarcely found replacement piece if needed. In any case is this a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type 'Schirmmützenadler' of the 'Extra Qualität'!
