Pair of fully matching, bright-green-coloured- (and/or white-piped-) WH (Luftwaffe) collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der LW-Felddivisionen'
This is an attractive - fully matching and simply never used nor worn! - pair of bright-green-coloured- (and/or neatly white-piped!) WH (Luftwaffe) collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der LW-Felddivisionen' and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never used nor once tunic-attached- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The collar-tabs are executed in bright-green-coloured- (typical smooth- ie. 'moleskin'-like-) wool and were as such intended for usage by a soldier (or NCO) belonging to one of the the later-war-period, so-called: 'Luftwaffe-Felddivisionen' (or: later-war-period, LW infantry-units ie. ground-troops). Both patches show a single (zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) gull (ie. 'Schwinge') attached and show a typical, yellowish-toned and/or 'buckram'-based 'backing' as more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). The collar-tabs are, moreover, nicely 'piped' with white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured piping (which is executed in the neat 'rayon'-like pattern) something that (I deem) most certainly signified infantry- (ie. 'Infanterie'-) usage. Simply a neat and desirable LW 'Felddivisionen'-collar-tab-pair that is actually not that easily encountered!
