Single - but nevertheless rarely seen! - WH (Heeres) mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Kradschützen-Bataillons 8 der Pz.- u. Single - but nevertheless rarely seen! - WH (Heeres) mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Kradschützen-Bataillons 8 der Pz.- u. Inf.-Div.'

This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless truly scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) NCO-pattern and neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstrap as piped in the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty used and/or worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Kradschützen-Bataillons 8 der Pz.- u. Inf.-Div.' (or: NCO and sergeant who served within the reconnaissance, motorcycle-unit numbered: '8') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The strap shows the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour (and shows the neat 'silk-like'-type piping). Its comes mounted onto its functional tongue and measures approximately 11,3 cms. in length: it was just moderately worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed (as can be seen on the pictures). Next to the 'standard-issued'-type, bluish-grey-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued') 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid does the strap show a neat (and actually rarely seen!) greyish-silver-toned (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized- and/or: zinc-based) so-called: 'K'-'cypher (ie. 'Ziffer'), equally-styled and smaller-sized '3'-numeral (ie. 'Ziffer') and (equally-styled) single pip period-attached, denoting that the NCO who was issued and used this strap, served within one of the: 'Kradschützen-Bataillone der Panzer- u. Infanterie-Divisionen (mot)' (ie. reconnaissance motor-cycle-unit). All three devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished but have preserved a fine and somewhat stained age-patina. It should be mentioned that these 'Heeres'-type, 'Panzer- o. Kradschützen'-related shoulderstraps are actually hard to come by and can easily be graded 'scarce'. This particular strap originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site and shows - as stated above - just moderate usage ie. wear (just some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel des Kradschützen-Bataillons 8 der Pz.- u. Inf.-Div.': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
