Single, WH (Heeres) 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, EM-type shoulderstrap: 'Soldat eines Pz- o. Panzerjäger-Abtlgs. o. Rgts.'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely seen! - (I deem) early- (ie. mid-war-) period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: simple soldier who served witin a tank-destroyer- ie anti-tank unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem clearly issued- and/or: just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,8 cms. in length as more often seen - has the woolen-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these early- (ie. mid-war-) period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - comes mounted onto its functional tongue that shows a tiny ink-stamp on its inside (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'! - 'M40- o. M43'-pattern, EM-type 'Panzer o. Panzerjäger'-related shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments'!
