Moderately used pair of WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant der Nachschub-Truppen'
The attractive - and I deem clearly used and/or worn! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards on offer here is piped in the typical light-blue- (ie. 'hell- o. kornblumerblauer'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant eines Nachschub-Abteilungs' (ie. lieutnant who served within an army transport-troops-related, regiment or unit). The attractive pair was most certainly issued and/or worn and comes in an overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the light-blue- (ie. 'hell- o. kornblumer-blauer'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of both 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and do show some age ie. staining only (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat boards - which measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length each - never had any pips (nor cyphers ie. numerals) attached denoting the junior-officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Leutnant'. The straps come mounted onto their tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and just moderately worn! - shoulderboard-pair that was intended for a: 'Offizier u. Leutnant der Nachschub-Truppen' and that will be hard to be upgraded!
