Pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fj.-Rgts. und Mitglied einer LW-Kriegsschule'

The attractive - and actually very scarcely found! - WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair is piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a high-ranked officer who served as an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments u. Mitglied einer LW-Kriegsschule' (or: lieutnant-colonel withinthe pilot- or paratroopers-branch and who served within ie. commanded one of LW-war-schools). The pair was clearly used and/or once tunic-attached and was clearly cut-of a tunic and comes in an overall nice (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the typical golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is truly almost matching (as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-related pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 10 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of the neat (golden-toned- and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or: 'Gothic'-styled) so-called: 'KS'-cyphers and a pair of (equally-styled- and somewhat smaller-sized) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments u. Mitglied einer LW-Kriegsschule'. The straps only show some storage-age and are void of any damage or alike. This pair originated from a small lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are very hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and actually rarely seen! - officers'-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for an: 'Oberstleutnant eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments u. Mitglied einer LW-Kriegsschule'!
