Neatly enamelled 'DRK-Schwesternkreuz des 2. Modell' that comes together with its (I deem non-period) silverish-golden-toned chain (ie. 'Kettchen') as issued and/or stored for decades
This is an attractive - and neatly enamelled! - so-called: 'DRK-Schwesternkreuz des 2. Modell' (or: German Red Cross ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' honorary-cross of the second model) that is executed in silverish-coloured- (and/or: typical) 'Buntmetall'-based metal being a very detailed and/or pronounced example that retains a fully preserved (and totally undamaged!) enamelled 'centre' (as can be seen on the pictures). It came mounted onto its (I deem non-period- and regular-sized-) silverish-golden-toned chain (ie. 'Kettchen') having a typical closure (as can be seen on the pictures) as issued and/or stored for decades. The beautiful award is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained but was never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The award is totally void of a makers'-designation (as is more often the case with these particular awards). Simply a very attractive example of a: 'DRK-Schwesternkreuz des 2. Modell' that will be hard to be upgraded and that is priced according to its comparative scarcity and/or desirability!
