Pair of WH (Heeres) 'privately-purchased'-pattern, NCO-type 'cyphered' shoulderstraps: 'Feldwebel eines Pz-Aufkl.-Abtlgs.'
This is a truly attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - pair of (typical) 'privately-purchased'-pattern, WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the desirable, darker-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and I deem moderately used by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilungs' (or: NCO and sergeant who served within a tank-related, reconnaissance unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which I deem are of the early-war-period ie. so-called: 'M40'-pattern - have the darker-green-coloured 'upperdecks' and have the neat, darker-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The tongues are naturally also present. The straps - which are totally constructed from so-called: 'boiled-wool' - are regular-sized- and measure 10,8 cms. in length each. The straps show the neat, siverish- ie. bluish-grey-coloured- and/or 'standard'-pattern- (ie. 'Heeres-type'-) NCO-braid and a pair of bright-silver-toned (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized and/or aluminium-based') so-called: 'A'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (equally-styled and regular-sized) pips period-attached denoting the NCO's rank of a: 'Feldwebel'. The 'A'-cyphers miss each a prong but were always attached to the straps. This rarely seen pair originated from an older and extensive shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. The pair on offer here just shows some truly moderate age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and typically 'privately-purchased'! - 'Panzer-Aufklärung'-related NCO shoulderstrap-pair that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
