N.S.S. (ie. 'Nationalsocialistische Schwesternschaft') membership-badge as executed in silver-toned 'Buntmetall' as was specifically intended for: 'Lernschwester und Anwärterinnen'
This is a very attractive - and actually quite rarely encountered! - luxuriously-styled, so-called: N.S.S. (ie. 'Nationalsocialistische Schwesternschaft' or: German nurses'-association) membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') as executed in silver-toned so-called: 'Buntmetall' as was specifically intended for: 'Lernschwester und Anwärterinnen' (or: nurse-trainees) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately worn- and/or used-), condition. The badge - being of the smaller- (ie. medium-sized- ie. 32 mm. sized-) version - shows a neatly engraved bearers'-number that reads: '3711' (as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, is the badge executed in just minimally tarnished 'Buntmetall' that shows no damage whatsoever: it just shows some minor scratches ie. wear-marks caused by regular wear. The piece is clearly maker-marked on its back with the makers'-designation: 'Hoffstätter - Bonn' as is more often encountered. A similar badge is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin catalogue, wherein it is given a unique reference-number (5624G) and an estimated value of 250 Eu(!). Simply a very attractive and honest example of this rarely encountered badge!
